Custom Art Commissions

  • Commissions are OPEN! I am currently scheduling orders for July & August 2026. Please fill out the form at the bottom of this page to be scheduled. 

    Step 1: Choose A Reference Photo

  • When choosing a photo to be drawn, please check your photo for clarity! The higher the photo quality and the clearer the image, the better the drawing - I cannot stress this enough!!! See examples below.
  • Note that I typically will not draw the background of a portrait, only the subject(s), though a background can be added by choosing this option when you fill out your form!
  • I currently offer black & white pencil drawings, as this is my strongest skillset. 
  • If you have a group photo of more than 2-3 people/animals, I'd recommend having them drawn separately. To fit 3+ people on a single page and still keep the details accurate can be difficult, especially in a small size like an 8”x10.” The more space I have to work with their features, the easier it is for me to draw a portrait accurately.
  • When drawing people, I prefer close-up photos of just their face(s) rather than the full body for the same reason as above. 
  • If you're unsure of which photo to choose, feel free to send me a bunch of them! :)

Step 2: Sizing & Pricing

  • I currently offer commissions in 8"x10," 11"x14," and 16"x20" sizes. Please specify which size you would like when filling out the form below.

8"x10" Pricing:

  • 1 subject, no background - $250
  • 1 subject, background included - $300
  • 2-3 subjects, no background - $350
  • 2-3 subjects, background included - $400

11"x14" Pricing:

  • 1 subject, no background - $350
  • 1 subject, background included - $400
  • 2-3 subjects, no background - $450
  • 2-3 subjects, background included - $500

16"x20" Pricing:

  • 1 subject, no background - $500
  • 1 subject, background included - $600
  • 2-3 subjects, no background - $650
  • 2-3 subjects, background included - $750
  • Payment Info: I accept cash & checks, as well as PayPal, Venmo, and Cash App. Sales tax and shipping costs are included in the prices listed above.

  • Once you've chosen your picture and sizing, please fill out the form linked below. Then you may send your chosen photo(s) to Sydnee via email @hoffmansydnee@gmail.com
